This is guide shows, howto install Adobe Reader (Acrobat PDF Reader) current version 9.5.5 RPM on Fedora 34/33, CentOS 8.3, Red Hat (RHEL) 8.3. This method works on 64-bit architectures.

1. Change Root User
sudo -i
## OR ##
su -
2. Get Adobe Reader RPM package
cd /tmp
## English version ##
wget http://ardownload.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/unix/9.x/9.5.5/enu/AdbeRdr9.5.5-1_i486linux_enu.rpm
3a. Install Adobe Reader (acroread) on Fedora 34/33
Note: On x86_64 bit system, 32-bit dependencies is also installed.

Hi JR,
Your instructions worked almost perfectly, but can you suggest an appropriate .desktop file to put in /usr/share/applications so as to display it in fedora 35’s gnome Activities menu? (the command “acroread” works perfectly. I see the installation in /opt.)
