    1. I actually tried both the commands mentioned there and also tried to install lsb but says

      Loaded plugins: langpacks, product-id, subscription-manager
Server error attempting a GET to /subscription/ returned status 502
      No package lsb available.
      Error: Nothing to do

    2. Hi Team,

Figured it out. On RHEL 7 first I went on to subscriptions and subscribed to all desktop (non beta) repos. Then installed redhat-lsb and got installed. Then installed chrome and went well.

Nice to hear that you got Google-Chrome also installed! Yes based your error problem was with RHEL subscription.

      • Hi Madhu,

Looks like you have some problem with fedorautils.repo file. Could you post content of fedorautils.repo file, like:

        cat /etc/yum.repos.d/fedorautils.repo

    9. Having just installed Google Chrome on Fedora 19, I can not believe that THE ONE WEBSITE IN THE WORLD THAT GOOGLE CHROME REFUSES TO LOAD… (crashes with error) is GOOGLE

I now have a GOOGLE browser that cannot access http://www.google.com !!! In no way can I persuade it to load this site. It tries to login with an expired URL …ALL other webpages function correctly. Does anyone know how to get Google Chrome to actually work with Google on Fedora?

      • Hi Fil Matthews,

Which version you installed? Could you post more info about this error?

        • This is a well known and Documented problem. Searching Google through another Browser, THAT ACTUALLY WORKS, indicates disabling experimental security flags might work. It doesn’t. Further searches reveal that there is some SSL library on 64 bit Linux that causes this.

I am Using Fedora 19 64 bit and have installed both google-chrome-stable and finally google-chrome-beta

          Currently About Chrome reveals

          Version 41.0.2272.118 (64-bit)

yum installations. Both fail .. Still amazed that a Google Chrome browser released on any platform fails to load a Google page..

    14. dnf tells me the URL is invalid / I get a 404 error.
Is it possible Google moved the RPM to another location?

This has been working like that for years, maybe they changed something? I’m using google-chrome-unstable, if that makes any difference
