      I tried it………….all the packages were already installed……. but still i m not able to play the .wmv files….please help!!!!!!!!

        Sounds strange, because I tested this almost just installed box.

        What player you use?
        Do you have tried multiple .wmv files from variable sources?

    2. I installed it but no success, got this:
      mplayer: error while loading shared libraries: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

      Any ideas?

        Try following:

        yum install freeglut

        Then try again.

    3. i am also unable to install gstreamer… failed because of package, tried yum whatprovides butt couldnt find anything, searched alot but didnt find any solution for it. HELP
