This is guide, howto install Skype 8.69 on Fedora 34/33/32/31 on CentOS/Red Hat (RHEL)/Scientific Linux (SL) 8.3/7.8. This is actually easy process, I updated this guide and use Skype own RPM package, because it's currently only way the install Skype. Skype 4.3 and older versions are outdated after July 1. 2017.     3. On Centos 7.7, Skype installed successfully but after after clicking the applicaton it doesn’t launch. No Error message displayed.

        Please try to start it from command line as normal user. Do see then any error message(s)?

    5. Since a couple of weeks, I receive the answer:
      Problem: conflicting requests
      – nothing provides libatomic1 needed by skypeforlinux-8.69.0.77-1.x86_64

      • Thanks Miki, updated this guide and now it should work with latest Skype version on Fedora 34 and Fedora 33.
