This is guide, howto install NVIDIA proprietary drivers (manually using .run installer) on Fedora 37/36/35/34/33/32 and disable Nouveau driver. This guide works with GeForce 8/9/200/300/400/500/600/700/800/900/10/20/30/40 series cards.
GeForce RTX 40 series cards works with 530.xx, 525.xx, 520.xx NVIDIA drivers, (RTX 4090)

Hi, I do that an run perfect, but late if I do dnf update, I reset and lost the interface, I don’t not if that is true but I think the system up the console mode or a system without interface.

I have one nvme drive and fedora is installed on secondary sata drive.
Just an FYI, on my F32 system, I could NOT get it to build an initrd correctly until I removed /usr/lib/modprobe.d/nvidia-installer-disable-nouveau.conf AND the file in /etc/modprobe.d
Hi guys , there is a way to update the nvidia drivers without doing this every time the kernel is updated?
I have to repeat almost the same processes running the .bin file and hope that don’t break anything.

Hi, I’ve made all installation without problems, but at reboot the system doesn’t run gnome interface: only way is to disable Nvidia in BIOS and work with built-in video card only.
Here my data:

Looks like you have nVidia Optimus device and this guide is not working on your system, check step 1.2.

About using secure boot and NVIDIA graphics cards . . . NVIDIA states: “it is not possible to use DKMS in conjunction with the module signing support built into nvidia-installer.” One can read the NVIDIA documentation for a more in-depth explanation, but long story short: installing NVIDIA graphics cards on Linux secure boot systems does not (practically) work. Actually it does work, that is, until you update the kernel. At that point you must then manually re-install the NVIDIA driver. For most of us, that’s not a practical, viable operating strategy. Thus, with NVIDIA, choose either running secure boot, or choose running the proprietary NVIDIA driver, but not both.

Yeah, well. It worked as far as I know, with a small issue that I can’t fix.
Now only my external hdmi monitor works and the laptop one does not. Used to work the 2 of them, but after all install procedure only the hdmi external one works.
