This is guide, howto install NVIDIA proprietary drivers (manually using .run installer) on Fedora 37/36/35/34/33/32 and disable Nouveau driver. This guide works with GeForce 8/9/200/300/400/500/600/700/800/900/10/20/30/40 series cards.

Thank you so much for this! I tried and tried to get nvidia drivers working in fedora 37, but every time I’d end up with no sound. This guide worked perfect for me. When its time to update to a newer version of fedora, will this continue working?
It looks like 390.154 is going to need a patch for 6.0 kernels.
Yes, patched version is available.
Does the 470 driver work with the 6.0 kernel?
I had the drivers installed via rpmfusion but with kernel 6.0 it reverted to the nouveau driver

Is the 470 driver compatible with the 6.0 kernel?
I have a GT 710 and the proprietary drivers installed through rpmfusion but I noticed that since upgrading to the newer kernel the driver reverted to nouveau.
I’m asking because I don’t know if trying to manually install the driver will do anything.

Yes patched version should work without problems with my custom 6.0.x kernels. Check also my inttf-patcher script.
I followed these instructions to the letter 3 times and every time it fails at step 2.7. I reboot to a black screen. I am falling back to Fedora 36 and I will wait for the official release and hope Nvidia driver config is easier in the official release.

I tried, on fedora 36, with kernel now 6.0.7-602.inttf, but it failed with 390.154. It works fine with kernel 5.19.16-602.inttf.

The problem is that after installing nvidia drivers, I see small stripes, let’s say in the terminal, they are dominated by a green shade, in the pictures where the colors are predominantly black, I see these stripes even stronger. I tried to remove them using the screen settings, but this is a bad solution, everything is fine on debian11 and ubuntu 22.04, windows too, the problem is not in the monitor. Because without drivers, the picture where the monotonous color should be in order, for example, the terminal, and after installing the drivers, these unpleasant stripes are everywhere. The picture seems to be divided by small pixels of green and reddish shades. I tried to find a solution, but I found a couple of mentions about it on the Internet without a solution. CPU i7 8700k + RTX 3060. The hardware is excellent, but these problems force me to return to Debian 11 with xfce4, which I’m used to, but I wanted to try Fedora with Gnome. The first thing I noticed when I launched the game was that the glow around the logo (originally red) on Fedora was yellowish and everything was striped, the black areas remained black. On white and gray, if you look closely, you can see that my monitor draws everything as if in a small cell, everything is filled with small square pixels everywhere.

I see your guide says:

Note I am currently running Fedora 36 with a GTX 970 on driver version x86_64-515.76. No problems so far.

The Patch for the Driver 470.141.03 is not working properly if you try to apply their inttf auto patcher. Instead you do the follow:
0.sudo dnf install patch -y
1.Download manually the driver 470.141.03 (nvidia website) and the patch for the Kernel 6.0.x (https://gitlab.com/herecura/packages/nvidia-470xx-dkms/-/raw/9c88952c1504e32ba3656cb0e2afd9286d2a763d/kernel-6.0.patch?inline=false)
USING THE TERMINAL
2.Unpack to a folder ./NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-470.141.03.run –extract-only
3.Go to folder NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-470.141.03/kernel
4.type this: patch –verbose –backup –strip=1 –input=/path/to/kernel-6.0.patch
After the patch is complete you can follow the rest of this website tutorial
*there is no need to repack the nvidia driver. Just navigate to NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-470.141.03 and type ./nvidia-install to install the patched driver and you are done!

What kind of problem you have with inttf patcher? Do you have problem with installing drivers or creating installer?
I have done all procedures for FC37 and indeed the native nvidia driver (*515.76) works.
BUT the both sound cards were not identified by the kernel 6.0.9-602.inttf.fc37.x86_64.
And i have not any audio, while in FC36 i had.
What can i do now?
