This is guide, howto upgrade Fedora 24 to Fedora 25 using DNF. This method work on desktop and server machines. I have tested this method on several machines, but if you have problems, please let me know. Always remember backup, before upgrade! 1. Before Upgrade 1.1 Backup Your Data Before doing anything, do full system backup or backup at least your important data: documents, pictures, videos, config files, log files, databases etc. This is very important step, because if something goes wrong and you have to do fresh install, then you can easily restore your data. 2.     1. Hi, your posts are a must-read for all Fedora users!
      I have a couple of questions about updating the whole system.
      1) Is it possible (or NOT advisable) to go directly from F24 to F26? And if so, how does it differ from your method?
      2) Wouldn’t it be necessary to uninstall Nvidia drivers before operating any change?

      • I was running one of my servers on fedora but the frequent upgrades just sucks so I migrated to centos.
