    1. Such a nicely written blog for Nvidia installation.
I had an experience at step 2.9; before rebooting with graphics run “nvidia-smi”.
Else either laptop is hanged at/or before login(with secure boot is disable/off) or with secure boot enabled I was able to see desktop but nvidia drivers were not working.

    2. I wish to report that CentOS Stream 9 kernel 5.14.0-183.el9.x86_64 fails to build with NVIDIA 470.141.03, whereas the previous kernel 5.14.0-177.el9.x86_64 did. The error is as follows:

      LD [M] /var/lib/dkms/nvidia/470.141.03/build/nvidia-peermem.o
      MODPOST /var/lib/dkms/nvidia/470.141.03/build/Module.symvers
      ERROR: modpost: GPL-incompatible module nvidia.ko uses GPL-only symbol ‘__get_task_ioprio’
      make[2]: *** [scripts/Makefile.modpost:134: /var/lib/dkms/nvidia/470.141.03/build/Module.symvers] Error 1
      make[2]: *** Deleting file ‘/var/lib/dkms/nvidia/470.141.03/build/Module.symvers’
      make[1]: *** [Makefile:1830: modules] Error 2

This is with the standard gcc version 11.3.1 20220421 (Red Hat 11.3.1-2), and the graphics card is an NVIDIA Corporation GK107 [NVS 510].
